Maneesha Nazeer is a dedicated and experienced Business Studies and Accounting educator with a strong background in Commerce, Finance, and international education. She is committed to creating structured, engaging, and student-centered learning environments that help students develop strong business knowledge, financial understanding, and analytical skills.
Education & Experience
Maneesha teaches Business Studies, Accounting, Commerce, Economics and related business subjects, with experience delivering the IGCSE, AS & A Level curriculum. She has expertise in curriculum delivery, examination preparation, differentiated instruction, academic mentoring, and remedial support, enabling her to work effectively with students of different abilities and learning needs.
Maneesha holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) in Finance, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Commerce, and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Finance. Her strong academic foundation in commerce and finance complements her classroom experience and enables her to connect theoretical business and accounting concepts with practical applications.
At ECC Dubai, Maneesha combines her teaching expertise with her responsibilities in BTEC vocational education. She serves as a BTEC Assessor and Internal Verifier (IV) for Levels 3, 4, and 5, supporting assessment processes, internal verification, learner progress, and the consistent application of BTEC assessment and quality standards. She works closely with learners throughout their BTEC journey, providing guidance on assignments, assessment criteria, evidence requirements, and academic progress.
Her previous teaching experience includes delivering Cambridge IGCSE Accounting and Business Studies, preparing formative and summative assessments, supporting examination preparation, providing academic mentoring, and conducting parent-teacher meetings. She has also served as Chief Coordinator of a Commerce Club, organizing co-curricular activities designed to extend business learning beyond the classroom.

Maneesha has also pursued professional development beyond classroom teaching. She holds the State Eligibility Test (SET) qualification and a Professional Diploma in Computerised Financial Accounting (PDCFA) and has completed professional training related to Goods and Services Tax (GST). Her professional interests also extend to educational technology and research, including work exploring the role of artificial intelligence in education.
